My first slides in red and my studies

Photo of a student

Coming from a family of passionate ski instructors, I obviously learned to walk at the same time as to slide and it was therefore only natural for me to obtain my diploma. I started working as a ski instructor at the ESF in Megève in 2011 at the age of 18. I learned the basics there by mainly supervising group ski lessons for children aged 3 and over. I also had the opportunity to supervise my first private lessons with adults of different levels, from complete beginners to intermediate skiers. This very formative experience within a Ski School allowed me to gain self-confidence and assert myself as a professional in teaching alpine skiing. I then mainly teach during school holidays since I started studying engineering in Lyon in 2011 and until 2016.

It was in 2019 with my Engineering Diploma in hand and a rather city life (Lyon, Paris, Lyon again) that I decided to return to my roots and really devote myself to my job as a ski instructor. I make a 180° turn and leave the permanent job, the office and the metro to find the outdoors and contact with my little students. Far from the routine of the city, I like the seasonal lifestyle and I look for additional training to my winter job: I opt for a double course BPJEPS Physical Activities for All and BPJEPS Leisure All Publics in two years where I explore new group animation techniques and I perfect the construction of my various multisport sessions. So here I am under a professional contract with the UCPA training center (Union national des Centers de Plein Air) until 2021, where I supervise and lead multisport sessions, lead holiday trips and continue to teach skiing. With UCPA, I had the opportunity to supervise groups of French-speaking and English-speaking adults who sometimes had very good levels, which helped me improve enormously in English and in teaching techniques.

Independent instructor

I obtained the French State Diploma - National Alpine Ski Instructor - in 2021 after a long journey strewn with pitfalls and 10 intense years of training, exams, surpassing oneself, apprenticeships, application courses... I then embarked on the adventure of being an Independent Ski Instructor.

Today, I work with French and English-speaking clients and offer private ski lessons for all levels in the areas of Flaine, Samoëns, Morillon and Les Carroz, forming the Grand Massif and its 265km of slopes.
